Gippsland Climate Change Network 2023 Annual Report
We are proud to share with you the GCCN 2023 Annual Report.
This year, we have achieved several milestones in our organisation. I am honoured to serve as Chair of GCCN with the support of a skilled executive team and an enthusiastic board. We have overseen significant achievements in delivering a diverse range of projects, which are detailed in this report. We are grateful for the support of our volunteer board members, trusted advisors, project partners, members, and supporters. They have generously contributed their time and energy for the benefit of our community and working towards our vision of a low carbon Gippsland. Our CEO, Darren McCubbin, has been instrumental in this year’s success and in managing our expanded team and our extensive relationships with community, key stakeholders, new energy proponents and all levels of government.
The last twelve months have been momentous for GCCN and the transition to new energy in Gippsland. We have successfully hosted the second Gippsland New Energy Conference and gained a reputation as a trusted independent organisation that can deliver complex projects. Looking ahead, we will continue to engage proactively with relevant parties on matters related to our core purpose, and to strengthen existing and new relationships.
At the AGM we welcomed in the new board and thanked those retiring and their valued contributions to the organisation. We also said farewell to one of our team members Michelle Isles, Senior Advisor New Energy.
We invite you to follow the link and read the report and celebrate with us the considerable achievements made over the past year.
