Gippsland New Energy is auspiced by the Gippsland Climate Change Network and is supported by the Victorian Government VicGrid and Offshore Wind Energy Victoria, Latrobe Valley Authority, Latrobe City Council, Wellington Shire Council and Gunaikurnai Land and Waters Aboriginal Corporation.
The Gippsland New Energy portal has been shaped by independent research, public surveys, and focus group interviews. It aims to gather information that meets our common needs as a regional community undergoing energy transition.
Our goal is to reduce confusion and uncertainty by providing visibility and clarity around proposed and approved developments, promoting cultural and environmental values and opportunities to participate.
