Powering up: Gippsland New Energy Conference 2023

Gippsland is powering up to host Australia’s largest regional-led New Energy Conference in Sale at The Wedge on Gunaikurnai country from 30 August to 2 September.

Following on from the successful inaugural conference last year, this year it promises to further deepen connections and collaborations, with more interactive spaces, stories of progress and capability as Gippsland prepares to power a positive, regenerative future.

The conference kicks off with the Gippy Youth New Energy Summit for schools and students only and finishes off with a Free Community Day which features an EV Expo, films, talks and entertainment.

The Gippsland New Energy Conference in 2023 promises to deepen connections and collaborations, with more interactive space, workshops, and diverse content.

“We are grateful to partner with over 40 organisations including business innovators, local and state government agencies, community leaders and education experts shaping the four-day program and are sleeves rolled up ready to make this series of events an overwhelming success”, said Darren McCubbin, CEO Gippsland Climate Change Network.

The conference features over 70 speakers, participating in 40 sessions covering culture, policy, investment and innovation. The conference is bookended by the Gippy Youth New Energy Day supported by AGL Energy and a Community Day with an EV expo, films, talks and entertainment supported by Iberdola Energy.
