Discover Renewable Energy Expo is where you can explore the latest innovations in renewable industries in a fun and engaging atmosphere.
GNEC24 is committed to enabling the community to participate in the renewable energy discussion and to making sure our community has the information and is ready to make the transition to support Victoria’s new energy goals, that will drive our economic growth, creating jobs, and ensuring a sustainable future for Gippsland.

- 4pm-5pm a choice of panel discussion
Main Auditorium – EMPOWERING LOCAL TALENT: TRAINING FOR RENEWABLE INDUSTRIES
Room 1&2 – WHAT IS COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT AND WHY DOES IT MATTER?
Litle Theatre – WHAT TYPES OF ENERGY ARE SUITABLE FOR GIPPSLAND? - 5-6pm Little Theatre – Meet the local author of “HERE COMES THE SUN” and meet the author Andy McCarthy
- 6-8pm Little Theatre – Grab some popcorn and watch the award-winning film “PLANET WIND” and meet the filmmaker Andy Evens.
- 4-6pm Town Hall Expo Centre, visit some of the industry and innovation stalls and meet the change makers explore renewables via VR headset with Power Pops and enjoy a snag from the Rotary Club.
