We have a packed eNews for you with updates on the many GCCN projects and programs across Gippsland. Planning is underway for the Gippsland New Energy Conference 2024 (GNEC24) to be held in Gippsland Performing Arts Precinct Traralgon. 3-4 September.
The other big news was the GCCN CEO, Darren McCubbin joined a delegation to Germany with the Australia-Germany Energy Partnership at the invitation of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK). The delegation included representatives from the Victorian State and Australian Government, as well as Gippslanders Glen McColl, Latrobe City and Dan Clancey, Nanoo Nanoo Enterprises.
As Gippsland looks to harness the potential of offshore wind, the experiences and knowledge gained from the German model could prove instrumental in shaping our approach to renewable energy.
